Fern by Kim Hargreaves, Rowan 36. I do actually really like Kid Classic, but I wanted to use something from the stash, so sparkly Jaeger Odessa it is! Posted by Picasa

Spooky, I was thinking of doing EXACTLY the same, same colour and everything....

Wow! That IS spooky!
Stash busters of the world unite!
I don't know if you have ever used Odessa before but I have discovered there is certainly a right direction and a wrong direction. Have a wee feel at it to see which way it lies flat and which way it fights with you - pulling the yarn from the centre has improved the smoothness on my batch no end.
I am finding my rev st st really quite uneven though. I shall have to "assertively" block when the time comes.

Well I would but having rationalsed my stash i can't actually remeber whether the yarn is in the loft, or the bedroom.......will keep you posted

OOh pretty ! I used that shade and that yarn for a scarf last year and you're right, I think it does have a right and wrong way.

Sorry I never made last Sunday. Bit of a problem with my Dad again. It's a flippin' nuisance when this "life" lark keeps on interfering with quality knitting time ;0)

Fern is a very pretty pattern - it will look great in the Odessa. Always nice to have a bit of sparkle!

Well that IS spooky, because I'm halfway thru" that in pale pink Kid Classic. I've just got the two fronts to do.
